Here are some steps to follow to setup a custom domain or bought through Blogger.

Where and which is the best place to Register a Domain

Here we have many domain host providers but where to find the best and which could be the best domain hosting service. let talk about it. If you can buy online through Credit card then Go for it, if not then buy one locally. You just need to consider those which provide free DNS controls along the domain hosting. Normally most of the provides give away free DNS setting control panel.

After you have a registered domain hosting website, now you need to setup the DNS for your domain (domain name setting).

Try to buy domain from Godady as they really have the greatest package. there are plenty of reasons why people choose Godady.

How to setup DNS?

Now if you have register domain, now you will get an email where they will send you the required User ID and Password to login to your domain control panel.

So once you get into the control panel, you just  need to find a tab where it says DNS settings or something related to DNS. That’s where we will set our domain settings are available for you. The DNS tab looks like this in ‘HostnDomains’ control panel below.

Once you are into DNS settings of your blog, you need to setup something called ‘CName‘. You will find a tab or button related to that in the DNS settings. Click that and go to the link where it says ‘Add new‘ or something related. We just want to add a new CName for our domain.

Now here you have to enter “www” where it asks for Name/subdomain and ghs.google.com where it asks for value/target host/destination/record. ‘ghs’ stands for Google Hosting Service. As your blog is Blogger Hosted you need to enter the host address here. If your blog is hosted with some other company like ‘Hostgator’ your value would be different.

So its done, click save. It will take around 1-2 day (normally takes less than a day) to activate your DNS settings.
